Meet Our Staff

LIVE’s premiere team of nutritionists, Licensed Certified Fitness Trainers & trained EMTs will monitor the personalized path that you are put on during your vacation program for optimum weight loss. Our Executive Chef plans fresh & healthy menus with YOU in mind, with healthy cooking and nutritional choices that focus on proper eating habits to prepare you for your journey to health and total fitness. Your LIVE LOSING IT HEALTHY VACATION trainers guide you to make sure you are following your personal health & fitness program and monitor your weight loss success by working directly with YOU!

Tony Beers – LIVE Fitness Director

Tony Beers is our weight loss vacation Fitness Director responsible for the design and daily execution of all daily exercise programs and activities. Tony is a Certified Sports Medicine Personal Trainer, certified in National Strength and Conditioning, specializing in Strength Training, Aerobic Conditioning, Muscular Rehabilitation, Weight Loss, Body Composition Analysis, Nutritional Counseling, Flexibility Instruction, and Plyometric Training. He played football at the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, and was a tight end and defensive line college coach at Ashland University.  He has designed strength training programs for varsity basketball, swimming and baseball programs.  Tony Beers has a Masters of Business Administration and a B.A. in Human Resources Management.

Mark Ruhsam – LIVE Assistant Trainer/EMT

Mark Ruhsam is dedicated to helping clients take action to be on the road to a healthy lifestyle and a healthier YOU! Currently in the Army National Guard he has acquired two different occupational specialties; Infantryman and Combat Medic as well as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Florida. In his spare time Mark enjoys rock climbing, sailing, backpacking and surfing and has found a new love for running, and enjoys participating in Ultra-Marathons. In addition, he currently serves our country as an airborne infantryman in a Long Range Surveillance unit.

LIVE Executive Chef – Je’an LeCre

Chef Je’an is dedicated to providing only the freshest most delicious food to our clients on a daily basis. He has been part of the Washington DC area restaurant scene for over 30 years in places such as the National Republican Club and the Washington Golf and Country Club. He now brings his extensive epicurean experience to you during cooking classes and presented in your vacation’s daily meal preparation. Chef Je’an is always delighted to share his extensive knowledge of French, Italian and American cuisine with our clients.

• Program weeks are from Sunday to Saturday.
• Rates shown are in U.S. dollars ($) and are per person. Spaces are limited. 12 CLIENTS PER WEEK — SPACES FILL FAST. A deposit holds your spot; payment must be paid in full one month PRIOR to your arrival. Spa services, airport transportation & travel insurance available at an additional charge.
• Restrictions: Void where prohibited by law. All promotions associated with LIVE™ are subject to change without notice. Among other things, LIVE™ may withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any package and add an unlimited number of blackout dates.
• Blackout Dates: November 20–30 2011, the month of December 2011, and January 1–January 8 2012.
• $500 non refundable deposit due per week.
• Cancellation Policy: 75% of the total fee will be refunded at least 4 weeks (30 days) prior to your arrival date. 50% of the total fee will be refunded within 4 to 2 weeks (15–30 days) of your arrival date. NO REFUNDS WITHIN 2 WEEKS (14 DAYS) OF YOUR STAY.
